Epistle in Incandescence
By Audrey Alma Meyer
In small doses,
Like sipping a drink,
Thoughts come along,
Landing on this white-page island.
An island of emotions
That has found abreaction;
An epistle is a reverence
To my inner- world reference.
Writing a letter is like
Shedding tears
When tears do not flow.
Instead, words pour out.
Emulating a trigger,
The relief after perdition
Turns into animation.
Each locution touches
The embodiment of my soul,
Expressing a unique music,
A fresh metaphysic.
A letter may be just a launch
With a rough start,
Yet still a parenthesis,
The beginning of a longer journey.
In symbiosis with creation,
Sketching an emotional landscape,
I let myself be carried
By a current of sentiments.
Transmitting vibes wherever they go,
As long as they echo mindfully
Within my melting heart.
A space for inner rhythm,
An encounter with wisdom,
A vast space for innocence-
A letter in incandescence.
